Who is Sharon EP1C?

I live paint events as they happen. I have moved around almost every year of my life growing up because my dad was in the military. I have been drawing since I was 1 year old, and painting since I was 3. I started making money at my art when I was 16 when I managed to get a single-panel comic strip in the newspaper for three years. I then went to art college for Visual Communications. I graduated with honours. I worked as a web/graphic designer for ten years. I started live painting in early 2007 accidentally when I was trying to overcome agoraphobia by bringing art supplies to the bar. I did that once a month at a spoken word show in Halifax until I became comfortable with being in that space, and then I endeavored to paint at ten places I’d never been around Halifax. I did a couple hundred paintings around Halifax, and then to step things up I painted towns all over Nova Scotia. Then I went on a music festival tour painting across the East Coast. Then, I bought a car with the money I made painting music festivals, threw art supplies and costumes into it, stopped renting a room and instead started driving. I did a solo tour across five provinces painting as many events and places as I could. I live in Montreal now. I love Montreal. I love and am inspired by music and big crowds. It is my long term plan to paint around the planet. I am from everywhere and I am going home.
